High-precision waterjet cutting for almost any material – without heat input
CNC waterjet cutting machines (Waterjet)
BERMET CNC waterjet cutting machines (Waterjet, abrasive waterjet cutting machines) use an extremely high-pressure water jet combined with abrasive garnet to precisely process virtually any material.

Overview
BERMET CNC waterjet cutting machines are designed for the most demanding cutting tasks. The technology uses a high-pressure water jet and abrasive garnet – garnet is today the industry-standard abrasive in waterjet cutting.
The biggest advantage of waterjet technology is that no heat-affected zone (HAZ) is created: the material structure remains unchanged, with no warping, hardening or discolouration. This is especially important when processing stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, copper, composite materials, glass, stone or plastic.
While plasma or laser cutting is primarily ideal for metals, a CNC waterjet cutting machine can cut almost any material with the same equipment: heat-sensitive materials, large-thickness workpieces, special alloys, composites, and decorative stone and glass elements.
The machines are built with a rugged welded steel frame, precision linear guides and high-precision CNC control. Modern intensifier pump systems operate at up to 4,000–6,500 bar working pressure, while modern servo-hybrid solutions deliver significant energy savings compared with conventional hydraulic systems.
The product range includes 3- and 5-axis waterjet cutting machines, tilting cutting-head systems, large-format gantry machines, dual-table designs and custom-sized industrial systems.
Materials that can be cut: structural and stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, copper, brass, hardened and tool steel, marble, granite, ceramics, porcelain, glass, composites, carbon fibre (CFRP), plastics, rubber, wood and sandwich panels.
