Overview
BERMET offers an extremely broad product range, from smaller workshop machines to high-performance, CNC-controlled 4-roll hydraulic plate rolling systems suitable for shipbuilding, steel construction, tank manufacturing and pressure vessel fabrication. The range includes 3-roll and 4-roll plate rolling machines, CNC- and NC-controlled plate rolls, asymmetric and symmetric rolling machines, cone-rolling systems, and industrial rolling machines for heavy-gauge material and long working lengths.
The accuracy of plate rolling is determined not only by roll diameter but also by the rigidity of the machine frame, the hydraulic system, roll positioning and the quality of the control system. BERMET machines are built with a rugged, stress-relieved steel frame, induction-hardened rolls and a high-precision hydraulic motion system, delivering excellent repeat accuracy over the long term.
4-roll hydraulic plate rolling machines are now the benchmark in industrial sheet-metal processing: the plate remains clamped between the top and bottom rolls throughout, while the two side rolls perform pre-bending and rolling. This allows pre-bending in a single clamping, minimal flat edges, excellent roundness, high repeat accuracy and a faster production cycle – ideal for CNC automation.
The advanced control of CNC plate rolling machines enables automatic roll positioning, programmable rolling cycles, recipe storage, multi-radius rolling, cone rolling and automatic pre-bending. CNC control significantly reduces set-up time and scrap rate, especially for repetitive production tasks.
Materials that can be processed: structural steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, and high-strength and wear-resistant steels. Parts that can be produced: cylinders, pipe and tank shells, silos, pressure vessels, boiler shells, chimney elements, ventilation ducts, conical and curved sheet-metal parts, half-cylinders, and large-diameter pipe sections.
